2020 : Not an ordinary year

It has been a challenging last 12 months for all of us. Deepest condolences for those who have a loss in their family or work. As I am in the second half of my sabbatical time between France and the USA and away from Covid I am gathering a lot of inspirations, shipping paintings across the globe and delivering new paintings to galleries. Here are a few photos of recent travels. I gathered them in two different picture books, one of which is available to order Sabbatical 2020, French Seaside. Gautier's Home Studio , Milton, GA

Milton, GA studio 2019 14 years , I have been working in this Home studio. Conveniently located in the basement I could access my studio at any time of the day. I would be there in the morning after my coffee and before my shower, I would be there in the middle of the day or in the evening or I would be there during one insomnie around 3:00am. Either time was perfect because I could fine everything to indulge. It was my place , where my husband liked to surprise me regularly. Where my art collector would love to meet and have a discussion about my process. ... Many hours of creation, of frustration, of happiness or sadness.
